Kent Macdonald is the senior paralegal and office manager at the Law Offices of C. W. Wickersham, Jr., P.A., where he has been with the firm since 2016. He began his paralegal career in 2014 at the Law Offices of Wickersham & Bowers, where he worked for three years before relocating to Jacksonville to join Mr. Wickersham’s firm. He has been a paralegal for thirteen years, the last ten with this firm, and assists Mr. Wickersham across the firm’s practice areas, with a particular focus on contested litigation, contracts, and personal injury matters.
Kent has been involved in some of the firm’s most significant litigation, including substantial briefing and trial preparation work on federal civil rights wrongful death matters in the United States District Courts and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and on appellate matters before the Florida Supreme Court.
Kent is a graduate of the University of Central Florida, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in political science. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida to a Navy family, which led him to live in multiple states over the course of his childhood; the bulk of his early years were spent in Memphis, Tennessee, where his mother retired. He returned to Florida to be near family and the beaches.
